Beginning January 1, 2005, the prices vendors quote CES members will include CES’ 1% administrative fee. Currently, vendors quote CES members and the schools add 1% on their purchase order. At CES’ Executive Committee meeting in June, the group decided that eventually, vendor quotes should include the 1% fee, and in January, this change will go into effect. CES receives no state or Federal funds for its operations and only charges its members the 1% administrative fee to cover the costs of operation.
